After a lengthy delay, the Community Arts Council (CACWL) is delighted to announce a ‘live’ and in-person Annual General Meeting for the 2020 season is taking place on Saturday, June 26th at 10:30 am in Boitanio Park. We’ll be safely spaced and gathering at the Gwen Ringwood stage, so if you plan to attend, please bring your own chair and refreshment.
2020 was a very different year for our organization, to be sure, but there are still ways our Creative Community has been active. Our Programs manager, Venta Rutkauskas, took many opportunities to apply for funding, tidy up the administrative backdrop and set up some great events for the future. And of course, we’ve had the opportunity to get Performances in the Park online while gatherings have been restricted!
Membership is a great way to support the CACWL - we’re also seeking two fine and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors! The positions of Treasurer and Secretary are vacant. Please inquire with Venta about these roles - with so many administrative efficiencies in place, these positions are well supported to succeed!
